My Thoughts On The C2 Indoor Rower

By Sandy Beale

I was never very considering the sport of indoor rowing until I tested out a Concept 2 Indoor Rowing Machine. Like mast other pieces of aerobic workout equipment you find at a gym, I presumed an indoor rower would be uninteresting and not offer any muscle-building benefits.

I was incorrect

What I realized was that indoor rowers offer lots of various exercise routines. They keep users from getting burnt out, meaning they are more likely to continue their workout routine. Whether you are attempting to lose weight or build muscle or both, you will get results faster when you exercise regularly.

They are also extremely convenient. I did not know how light-weight and easy one of these machines was to move until I picked it up and moved it across the room. I could do it nearly effortlessly with one hand. I was really surprised. This element alone made me think it would be the perfect piece of home workout equipment. I would be able to easily move it from room to room and afterwards keep it out of view when it was not being used.

I likewise had no problems hearing songs or viewing a good tv show while exercising. I confess, occasionally I prefer a diversion or an escape while I am exercising. With a loud piece of workout equipment, you can't hear music or watch a movie. In some cases this means that I will not exercise at all.

When I used to jog a lot, I would finish an exercise and then need to integrate a strength-building routine for my arms. With the Concept 2 Indoor Rower, I do not need to do that. All major muscle groups get a strenuous workout on the rower, and in minimal time.

This gives me more time to do other things that I enjoy. It likewise gives me much more motivation to workout on a rower, since I know it will get me more results sooner than other alternative workout regimens.

As you have probably noticed, I am a big fan of this rowing machine, but there is another thing I wish to discuss. I enjoy exercising outdoors. Normally I don't prefer indoor workout classes or fitness centers. Nevertheless, because the C2 is so light-weight and convenient to move, I just roll it outside and enjoy working out in the sunlight. If this is a concern that you are thinking about, you do not have to be.

If you're thinking of buying home exercise equipment, like an indoor rower, try one out first. Many health clubs have them, or your local exercise equipment store may let you test drive one. Then, you can go shopping online to locate the best deal on the equipment you want.
